On the 6th November 2015 A member of the Aerofin team will be embarking on a 120km trek through the hills, valleys and jungle of Cambodia. Finally ascending the Kulan mountain to Angkor Wat. The challenge is in aid of the Childrens Hospice South West at Charlton Farm. With the aim of creating awareness and raising funds for this great charity.
This all came about when a friend of the business recently had to take his younger brother to the hospice. After his visit and seeing what the hospice had done for his brother and others he decided he wanted to give something back. The following are his words.
“My eyes were opened at the beginning of this year when I spent the night with my little brother at the children’s hospice that he attends. This place, Charlton Farm, is incredible. It is such a nice place in the perfect setting, albeit the true reason behind it contains a world of emotion. Just being there made me realise how lucky most of us are and how important this place and this charity is (Children’s Hospice South West).
I was so inspired that I immediately started looking for ideas to help out this great place that my little brother, Curtis, attends. Curtis is just 14 years old and he has cerebral palsy, he is blind and he is severely epileptic. Charlton Farm is so important, not just to Curtis but to so many other children and families that Charlton Farm provides care for.”
