To further enhance our service in 2011, we have teamed up with Composite Test & Evaluation Ltd (CTE). CTE are hugely experienced in composite materials testing and have established interests in aerospace, power generation and automotive markets. Whether you are looking for independent evaluation of your composite components, manufacture of test specimens, end to end qualification of a particular non-metallic material, or just testing of a single batch of specimens Composite Test & Evaluation Ltd are able to offer assistance.

March 2011

In March 2011 our wet chemistry capability was further enhanced by the acquisition of a ion chromatograph. Ion chromatography is a powerful analytical tool capable of determining substances otherwise difficult to do with more traditional methods i.e. fluoride.

February 2010

In January of this year our Laboratory successfully completed its initial Nadcap Chemical Processing audit subsequently achieving Nadcap accreditation. This is a major milestone for our business and one where we feel justifiably proud.

November 2009

In October, works at our existing facilities were completed with the installation of a new laboratory. The new laboratory will further enhance our ability to meet our customer’s needs and fulfil all requirements within a satisfactory timeframe.

At Aerofin Laboratories our services aim to align with the customerneeds. Aerofin Laboratories Ltd capabilities range from off site testing at our own laboratories, through to fully integrated on site facilities at our customer’s plant.

To further enhance our service in 2009, we have teamed up with Omega Research Inc in Justin, Texas. Omega bring a wealth of experience in materials testing most especially in hydrogen embrittlement testing.Omega Research Inc are internationally recognised specialists in embrittlement testing.

At Aerofin, we believe that by teaming up with Omega we are able to bring cost effective and competitive hydrogen embriittlement testing to the UK market.

Sample prices for hydrogen embrittlement testing are as follows:

Testing of four 1a1 samples in accordance with ASTM F519: £135.00

Testing of four 1a2 samples in accordance with ASTM F519: £315.00

Prices for single samples are available on request. All prices are inclusive of delivery to Omega and exclusive of VAT.
